Mason is a graduate of Glenville State College, majoring in Natural Resources Management with a focus on Land Surveying. He has been employed by Allegheny Surveys since he graduated in 2019.

Mason is proficient in all types of surveying, and has played a key role in several Boundary, GPS, Topographic and site surveys.
