Allegheny Surveys has the ability to create 3D models using laser scan point clouds. Whether steel, tanks, ground, or irregular underground surfaces (such as mines or tunnels), ASI can model sites using different software platforms.

ASI has produced CAD models for clients for the purposes of reverse engineering and clash detection. Having a real-world site modeled to scale in a 3D computer environment can be beneficial for design, planning, and volume computations.
